Universidad de Granada Library Staff Training Week 2025

 

As every year, the University of Granada Library (Spain) organizes its Staff Training Week from May 5 to 9, 2025, in collaboration with the Vice-Rector for Internationalization. This initiative is developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission and the University of Granada’s own Internationalization Strategy, and involves the visit and exchange of technical knowledge and professional experience of librarians from different countries and cultures, with the aim of continuous improvement of all the institutions involved.

No registration fee is required. Visitors will have to arrange and pay for their travel expenses, insurance, and accomodation. Lunch will be arranged by the Library at the University canteens.

The training will be conducted by professionals from the University Library, professors, and visitors.

The training will be held in English

Official activities: Monday to Thursday, 8:30-16:00 h. Friday, 8:30-12:00 h.

Lunchs at the University canteens (vegetarian menu available on site, gluten-free menu available on request): Monday to Thursday, approximately 13:00-14:00 h. Lunch is free for the Staff Training Week visitors.

Optional guided tours and visits: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons/evenings, approximately 17:00-19:00 h. (no payment required).

Optional farewell snack: Thursday, approximately 20:00-21:00 h. (not free).
