USER TRAINING ACTIVITIES FOR UNIVERSITY MEMBERS - ACADEMIC YEAR 2012-2013

The University Library offers user training activities for the academic year 2012-2013. These activities aim to teach University members how to use the Library, so that they can make good use of all the information resources available and get basick skills on the search and evaluation of information.

All the activities offered by the Library are free.

Every Library branch offers different user training activities. These can be virtual, face-to-face, or blended activities.

  • Introductory courses for new students: They aim to show new students the different Library branches and their services and resources. Some Library branches offer guided tours and others make it part of the students' reception. These tours are done between October and December and students do not get academic credits for them.
  • Specialized workshops: Each Library branch offers specific courses during the academic year for its students so that they get to know the resourses and how to use them. These can be virtual, face-to-face, or blended workshops. Students can get upt to 3 academic credits. * Requested courses: Courses in cooperation with the teaching staff or on demand of certain groups of users.
